Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role located in Lancaster, PA, for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will be responsible for providing individualized mental health care, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and offering therapeutic interventions. The role involves collaborating with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Additionally, the role will include case management tasks and organizational responsibilities to maintain efficient operations of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy using evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, or trauma-informed care).
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress according to ethical and professional standards.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) within established timelines.
- Participate in case consultation meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration with peer specialists, nurse practitioners, and external providers.
- Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments when clinically indicated.
- Support the practice’s mission of promoting affirming and equitable mental health care, with an emphasis on the needs of marginalized and underrepresented populations.
- Engage in ongoing continuing education and supervision, maintaining compliance with all state licensing requirements.
- Contribute to practice growth initiatives, such as workshops, outreach events, or student mentorship, as opportunities arise.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
- Active LCSW license in Pennsylvania (in good standing).
- Minimum of 2 years post-licensure clinical experience preferred.
- Experience working with adolescents, young adults, and/or LGBTQIA populations highly valued.
- Proficiency in EHR systems, telehealth platforms, and clinical documentation.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Commitment to trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive practice.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with insurance credentialing and billing workflows.
- Experience in clinical supervision, training, or mentorship roles.
- Experience collaborating with community agencies or peer-support programs.
