Cleaner/Maintenance

Description

Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Cleaner/Maintenance to join its team at an apartment community in New Bedford, MA.

The Cleaner/Maintenance role is to assist the site Management Team with the efficient operation of the property. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Maintaining a high level of cleanliness in the buildings common areas and other assigned areas;
• Janitorial and grounds care;
• Performs work orders, including snow/ice removal;
• Maintains exterior grounds according to company standards.
• Requirements of the Position:
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal;
• Ability to take initiative and be self-motivated;
• Excellent customer service skills a must.
• Reliable vehicle required to fulfill essential duties of the job.
  
  

Education and Experience:

• Requires High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years of previous cleaning experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
  
  

Compensation and Benefits:

Peabody Properties offers $22.00 to $26.00 along with a rich benefits package that includes, but is not limited to, medical, dental, 401(k), STD, life insurance, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), paid time off, paid holidays, paid training, tuition reimbursement, wellness programs, employee referral bonuses, and flex spending.
