Role Description
This is a volunteer role located in the Portland, Oregon Metropolitan Area for a Social Media Coordinator. Responsibilities include managing and creating engaging social media content across platforms, implementing and optimizing social media marketing campaigns, engaging with the online audience, and monitoring analytics to enhance performance. The role includes collaboration with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment with PDX Pop Now!’s mission and goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Social Media Content Creation and Social Media Marketing
- Strong Communication and Writing skills
- Experience with Digital Marketing strategies and tools
- Ability to analyze and interpret social media metrics to drive engagement
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Passion for community engagement and local music culture
- Experience in nonprofit or volunteer-driven organizations is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, or related field is preferred
