Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position based in Vancouver, WA, for a Shop Employee at PDX Panels. The Shop Employee will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day production tasks, operating equipment such as forklifts as needed, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and adhering to quality standards. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with team members, maintaining inventory, and occasionally supporting customers as required. Training will be provided to ensure tasks are carried out effectively.
Qualifications
- Excellent Customer Service and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience in Forklift Operation and maintaining safety standards
- Basic understanding of Sales and ability to assist customers when necessary
- Willingness to participate in ongoing Training to enhance skills and knowledge
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail
- Hourly rate can range from 22-26$ based on existing metal fabrication experience
