PDX Cars & Trucks Service Center in Gladstone, OR, is looking for an experienced automotive technician with strong diagnostic skills to join our team.
We need someone who can independently identify the cause of a problem, explain the necessary repairs, and complete quality work. Strong electrical and engine performance diagnostic experience is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose check-engine lights, misfires, no-start conditions, electrical problems, and drivability concerns.
- Use diagnostic scanners, live data, wiring diagrams, and testing equipment to confirm failures.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Document findings and communicate repair recommendations to the service team.
- Verify repairs and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Proven professional automotive diagnostic and repair experience.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage jobs efficiently.
- Dependability, attention to detail, and pride in quality workmanship.
- ASE certifications and diesel or European vehicle experience are a plus.
Pay depends on experience and demonstrated diagnostic ability.
