Manufacturing Equipment Technician
We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Manufacturing Equipment Technician to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and clean production equipment in a GMP-compliant manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is adaptable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a production team.
Primary Responsibilities

Set up, operate, monitor, and clean manufacturing equipment, including:

Rotary Pouch Filler
-
Capsule Machine
-
Tablet Press
-
Material Blending
-
Liquid Filling
-
-
Perform equipment changeovers, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.

Identify mechanical or production issues and communicate repair needs promptly.

Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety procedures, sanitation requirements, and established standard operating procedures.

Complete production records, equipment logs, batch documentation, and other required paperwork accurately.

Measure, stage, and verify materials according to production instructions.
-
Monitor equipment performance and product quality throughout each production run.

Inspect finished products for weight, fill level, seal integrity, appearance, and other quality requirements.

Clean and sanitize equipment and production areas between batches.
-
Help minimize equipment downtime, product loss, and material waste.

Work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance personnel.

Assist with preventive maintenance and continuous process improvements.
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Qualifications
-
Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, or equipment maintenance experience is preferred.

Experience in a GMP-regulated environment is strongly preferred.

Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting ability.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

Ability to follow written procedures, formulas, and production instructions.

Ability to complete documentation clearly and accurately.

Dependable attendance and willingness to work as part of a team.

Comfortable working around powders, liquids, moving equipment, and manufacturing noise.

Willingness to learn multiple pieces of production equipment.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and move throughout most of the shift.

Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive production tasks.

Ability to safely lift and move manufacturing materials and equipment components.

Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.

Schedule

Five-day, 8-hour schedule: M - F

Potential overtime opportunities are available, depending on production needs.
