What You’ll Do
As a Manufacturing Planner, you’ll play a vital role in aligning engineering requirements with shop floor execution:
- Review and coordinate engineering drawings and integrate updates into manufacturing work instructions
- Interpret and apply specification documents, including critical electrical manufacturing terminology
- Develop and manage manufacturing planning requirements to support production goals
- Incorporate engineering changes into existing manufacturing plans with accuracy and efficiency
- Ensure manufacturing execution aligns with design intent and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and cross-functional teams to resolve planning issues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date planning documentation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing processes
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting BDS and BCA engineering design and specification documents
- Strong experience managing and processing manufacturing planning requirements
- Ability to develop and execute manufacturing plans aligned with engineering specifications
- Solid understanding of electrical manufacturing terminology and processes
- Consistent and reliable attendance
- This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
- Experience supporting aerospace programs such as VC-25B, AH-64, or STL
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESCI)
- Knowledge of large-scale aviation production systems across multiple sites
- Experience in electrical fabrication environments
- Typically requires an Associate degree with 3 years of related experience, OR
- Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of related experience, OR
- 5 years of relevant work experience in lieu of formal education
- Work on cutting-edge aviation programs with real-world impact
