Precision Machining Starts With You as a Machinist with PDS Tech!

Pay Rate: $25.07 – $25.81/hr

We’re seeking skilled Machinists with hands-on experience in either CNC lathes or CNC mills. In this role, you’ll support the production of high-quality metal components by setting up machines, maintaining tight tolerances, and ensuring accuracy through inspection and workmanship.

CNC Lathe Experience

Required Experience (One of the Following)

• Setting up and operating CNC lathes
• Experience boring jaws to hold tight runout tolerances
  
  

OR

CNC Mill Experience

• Setting up and running production on CNC mills
• Performing first article inspections
  
  

What You’ll Do

• Operate CNC machines to assemble, repair, and fabricate metal parts
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Ensure parts meet required dimensions and tolerance levels
• Assemble components into subassemblies or finished products
• Perform first article and in-process inspections
• Maintain consistent quality and production output
• Follow established procedures and shop standards
  
  

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2–4 years of CNC machining experience
• Strong ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledge of machining concepts, tools, and processes
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
  
  

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 30 lbs. regularly
• Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and other physical risks
• Repetitive motion and standing required throughout the shift
