This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details: $28.00 per hour

What You’ll Do
As an Aircraft Painter, you’ll be responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing aircraft surfaces with accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced aerospace production environment.
Surface Preparation & Paint Application
- Prepare aircraft surfaces for paint by sanding, masking, filling, washing, and removing dents or imperfections
- Apply corrosion preventative treatments, primers, and specialized finish coatings to metal and composite/fiberglass components
- Ensure all coatings are applied in accordance with technical data, blueprints, and Bills of Material (BOM)
- Perform touch-up work, stripe line cleaning, and overspray removal to prepare aircraft for customer acceptance
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with aerospace standards
- Utilize aviation-related tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces within production areas
- Collaborate with production teams and quality personnel to meet schedule and customer delivery expectations
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical instructions accurately

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of four (4) years of painting and paint preparation experience on metal and composite/fiberglass components
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and Bills of Material (BOM)
- Familiarity with common aviation tooling and aerospace paint application techniques
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finishes
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a production environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Previous aerospace or aviation manufacturing experience
- Experience with specialized aircraft coatings and corrosion prevention systems
- Familiarity with aerospace quality standards and finishing processes
- Experience working in fast-paced production or maintenance environments
