The Senior Developer, Business Systems & Enterprise Platforms - Enterprise Applications provides subject matter expertise within Business Systems & Enterprise Platforms, driving enterprise applications (ERP, CRM), integrations, middleware, and platform configuration with a focus on Enterprise Applications through advanced problem-solving, technical depth, and hands-on execution. This position evaluates technological alternatives and ensures alignment with PDS Health’s standards and business goals.

The Senior Developer, Business Systems & Enterprise Platforms - Enterprise Applications is responsible for supporting, configuring, and optimizing the enterprise application ecosystem that powers PDS Health’s business operations.

The Senior Developer, Business Systems & Enterprise Platforms - Enterprise Applications collaborates across teams, mentors junior team members, and interfaces with business leaders to translate requirements into solutions and ensure compliance with SOX controls, HIPAA requirements, vendor SLAs, and applicable enterprise application compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage plan and manage team operations, setting priorities and ensuring alignment.
• Staff and develop teams for recruit, develop, and retain talent, fostering a high-performing team.
• Budget and allocate resources for develop and manage budgets, allocate resources, and provide financial oversight.
• Measure and report on conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and establish development plans.
• Build team capabilities in interface with cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate delivery.

• Budget and allocate resources for ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
• Ensure compliance with Company policies, as well as State, Federal, and other regulatory requirements.
• Design application development, coding, testing, and deployment following established SDLC methodologies.
• Lead code reviews, quality assurance, and adherence to coding standards and security best practices.
• Mentor others in technical documentation, API specifications, and developer guides.
• Drive integration development between systems and platforms.
• Evaluate and improve bug fixes, performance optimization, and technical debt remediation.
• Design CI/CD pipeline maintenance, deployment automation, and release management.
• Lead collaboration with analysts and architects to translate requirements into working solutions.\
• Mentor others in unit testing, integration testing, and participation in QA processes.
• Drive staying current with development tools, frameworks, and industry best practices.
• Evaluate and improve documentation of code, processes, and technical approaches.
• Ensure compliance with Company policies, as well as State, Federal, and other regulatory requirements.

Required

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. In lieu of degree, 5 years of additional experience is required.

• Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, GCP Cloud Engineer, CKA/CKAD, or equivalent.

Preferred

• Experience in the healthcare (medical or dental industry), retail, or other large enterprise organizations.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms, container orchestration, and CI/CD tooling.
• Experience developing and maintaining customer-facing policies and documentation.
• Industry thought leadership in cloud and platform engineering.
• Expertise in multiple programming languages such as C#, Rust, Python, Java, Go, or Node.js, with proficiency in relevant frameworks and libraries.
• Extensive experience in backend development, including designing and implementing RESTful APIs and working knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL).
• Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks such as Angular.js, Vue.js, or React.js for building single-page applications.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Demonstrated experience with scalable, resilient, and fault-tolerant system design, as well as enterprise software design principles (e.g., SOLID, 12 Factor applications, distributed messaging, API gateways, service mesh, and serverless architectures).
• Advanced experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2)
• Proven ability to optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Familiarity with API management tools and best practices for versioning, documentation, and security.
• Hands-on experience with observability, monitoring, and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog)
• Strong background in automated testing frameworks for both frontend and backend development.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams with iterative development and continuous improvement.
• Experience with GIT, and Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Bitbucket)
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, including mentoring junior engineers.
• Familiarity with integrating AI/ML models or services into production applications.
• Experience with mobile application development (native or cross-platform) is a plus.

Compensation Information

$116,000.00-$150,000.00 / Annually
