Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Technician / IT Specialist to support day-to-day IT operations, including system setup, user support, and infrastructure maintenance. This role requires a well-rounded technical professional with experience in desktop support, network configuration, and business systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop systems
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Manage and troubleshoot security systems and user access controls
- Support internet setup, connectivity, and content filtering solutions
- Administer and support ERP systems (E2 preferred)
- Maintain and troubleshoot internet-based (VoIP) phone systems
- Install, configure, and update software applications
- Perform routine system maintenance and upgrades
- Assist with IT documentation and best practices
Technical Environment
- Operating Systems: Windows (primary), Chrome OS
- Phone Systems: Internet-based (VoIP)
- ERP System: E2
- User Base: Approximately 10–15 systems
Qualifications
- Experience in desktop support, IT systems administration, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows environments and general IT infrastructure
- Familiarity with VoIP phone systems and network troubleshooting
- Experience supporting ERP systems (E2 preferred)
- Solid understanding of security systems and internet filtering tools
- Ability to manage multiple technical tasks in a small-to-medium environment
