What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Clerk position at PDQ STAFFING?
We are looking for a candidate with previous warehouse experience, must have FedEx Worldwide software/UPS experience to perform the duties of a Shipping Clerk, located in the area of Carrollton, TX!
This position is primarily responsible for, though not limited to, following all established procedures and policies for ensuring that material is relived from the appropriate location in the warehouse. Prioritizing safety, quality, and efficiency to meet the goals of the company is also required for this position. This shipping clerk position must be computer literate, have a good background in UPS/FedEx software (not just the packaging of the product, but the actual software) !!

Hourly Pay rate:
- $18.00 (paid weekly).
- 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday-Friday, with Mandatory OT.
- Pass a 5-panel drug test.
- Pass criminal background check; 7 years back no felonies
- Back brace.
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs. continuously.
- Convert Pick Tickets to Delivery notes.
- Sort pick tickets based on established routes.
- Scan into Spreadsheet.
- Print shipping labels for each order and affix them to the proper pick ticket.
- Assign pick tickets to warehouse personnel.
- Maintain accurate files and record keeping.
- Provide backup for reviewing discrepancies, correcting and entering completed pick tickets, and update the system with completed orders.
- Provide administrative support to Warehouse Leadership staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
