Position Summary
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels by performing regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring inventory integrity within the warehouse.

Essential Functions
  • Perform daily cycle counts on assigned inventory locations.
  • Identify, research, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the system.
  • Work closely with warehouse, purchasing, and production teams to correct issues.
  • Ensure proper labeling and organization of inventory.
  • Assist with physical inventory counts as needed.
  • Receiving and shipping support: Unpack, count, verify incoming shipment and assist with outgoing orders as needed.
  • Follow company safety and operational procedures.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous warehouse or inventory experience preferred.
  • Forklift certification required or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with ERP or Inventory Management programs preferred.
  • Familiarity with barcode scanners and RF devised a plus.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft word, excel, powerpoint, outlook, teams)
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment
  • Work hours – M-F, 8:00am-4:30pm.
  • Overtime may be required during inventory counts or peak periods.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 60lbs on occasion using safe lifting practices.
  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment as required.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing/warehouse environment with concrete flooring and varying temperatures.
