Job Summary:
As an Equipment Associate, you’ll be an essential part of our rental operations — helping customers find the right equipment, keeping our yard running smoothly, and supporting deliveries and pick-ups. This is an active, hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and takes pride in helping customers succeed. If you’re a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for customer service, we want to meet you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with equipment inquiries and service needs
- Load and unload equipment for customers, ensuring safe handling and transport
- Perform routine equipment inspections, cleaning, and basic maintenance
- Organize and maintain the yard to keep it clean, safe, and highly functional
- Assist with inventory tracking for equipment and supplies
- Provide product demonstrations and share equipment features and benefits
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues — a “handyman mindset” is a huge plus!
- Collaborate with sales and service teams to meet customer needs
- Follow all safety protocols to create a safe work environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in equipment rental, yard work, or customer service preferred
- Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record required
- Experience making deliveries and/or operating pickups trailers preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform small repairs or adjustments
- Forklift or equipment operation experience (certification preferred — or willing to train!)
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong organization, time-management, and problem-solving skills
