As we continue to grow and expand our presence, we are seeking a dynamic Assembly Technician to join our Sun Valley team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble heavy machinery equipment (tractors, excavators, loaders and other equipment) according to manufacturer specifications.
- Read and interpret assembly manuals/instructions.
- Install hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems on heavy equipment.
- Conduct functional tests on assembled equipment to verify performance and troubleshoot any issues.
- Work closely with service technicians to assist in pre-delivery inspections and ensure equipment is rental or sales ready.
- Use forklifts, hoists, and other material-handling equipment to maneuver large components safely.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace, following safety and compliance protocols.
- Document assembly work and report any quality concerns or equipment malfunctions.
- Assist in pre-delivery inspections and modifications to meet customer needs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED, certification from a vocational or completion of apprenticeship is preferred
- Min of 2 years of experience as a mechanic. Heavy equipment experience preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and diesel systems and theory
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Hourly rate is based on experience and qualifications
