What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety & Environmental Coordinator position at PDM US?
PDM US is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety & Environmental Coordinator to help foster a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. This position supports all aspects of our environmental, health, and safety programs, including regulatory compliance, employee training, audits, incident investigations, PPE administration, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout our manufacturing facility.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of workplace safety, environmental compliance, and manufacturing operations. This individual will work closely with employees, supervisors, HR, and leadership to promote a culture where safety, accountability, and continuous improvement are top priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support environmental, health, and safety compliance programs.
- Coordinate safety training and maintain related records and documentation.
- Conduct facility inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
- Assist with PPE selection, inventory management, and employee compliance.
- Maintain safety and environmental records and support regulatory reporting.
- Coordinate with safety vendors and service providers.
- Participate in safety committees and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with HR and operations leadership to strengthen PDM's safety culture.
