DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Ability to read architectural floor plans and door/hardware schedule
- Flexibility to transfer between multiple projects on an as needed basis
- Cursory knowledge of the construction industry and processes and possess the Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers, and customers
- Must be proficient in installation of all doors and mechanical hardware. (Exit devices, closers, mortise locks, mullions, etc.)
- Basic knowledge in installation of wood frames,
- Basic knowledge of electrified hardware.
- Expert level understanding of all major manufacturer’s products (Assa, Allegion, Dorma Kaba, Stanley/Best) and their applications
- Ability to lead and carry out installation of minor door and hardware tasks
- Other duties and job responsibilities as needed
- Able to Communicate and Understand detailed instructions
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Able to lift up to 80lbs.
- Ability to work in various weather elements.
- Able to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and team members.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers and customers.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
- OSHA 10
- OSHA 30
