POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for Branch operations including direct supervision of branch managers throughout 14 branch retail network. Responsible for branch operations, sales, employee development, coaching, branch security, audit, compliance and budget. Work with branch operations, technology, facilities, marketing and business development teams to operate the branches and grow product/solution offerings, deposits, loans and fee revenue.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Manage branch network with 14 locations and 75 staff. Manage branch operations, sales, hiring, staff development/coaching, customer experience, budget, audit, security, procedure, vendor and compliance aspects of retail network. Ensure branch staff is trained and coached to support sales efforts such as deposit growth, fee income growth and new product/solution offerings. Responsible for staff administration which includes hiring, delivering continuous feedback/coach, corrective action documentation and annual performance evaluations.
- Customer Experience- Ensure continuous improvement in customer experience. Primary escalation point for all customer issues.
- Business Development – Partner with Business Development team on growing bank’s customer base.
- Operations – Partner with bank operations team on branch operations.
- Marketing – Partner with Marketing team and execute the Bank’s marketing plan throughout the Retail network. Ensure consistent Marketing message and Retail staff engagement in bank Marketing activities.
- Call Center – Partner with Call Center on branch and call trends.
- Facilities Management – Partner with Facilities team on branch facilities items.
- Audit – Partner with bank Audit team on all branch audit items
- The bank implemented Cohen and Brown sales methodology in 2019. Incumbent should have knowledge/understanding of Cohen and Brown processes.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for managing Branch Managers and Branch Operations Coordinator. Indirectly – All Retail/Branch staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred candidate has a minimum of 5 (five) years work experience as a Retail Bank district, regional or market management level. Comprehensive knowledge of retail bank operations required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
SKILLS
Strong leadership, employee development/coaching, verbal and written communication, negotiation, and project management skills required. Ability to interact with all levels within the organization.
TECHNOLOGY SKILLS
Position requires proficiency in Windows operating environment using MS Office applications, specifically, word and excel, and the aptitude to learn new software as required.
