The Business Analyst will report to the Operations Department. This is a hands-on position, and the person in this role with be exposed to different areas of the business. The Business Analyst will work across a number of projects from operational analysis, planning and forecasting, M&A support.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a good understanding of business model and risks
- Prepare, edit, and assemble reports required for meetings and presentations
- Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports
- Ability to capture requirements with efficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail on a consistent basis
- Support in analysis, modeling, and other quantitative techniques as needed to answer business questions and evaluate business issues and objection
- Identify opportunities for improving business processes
- Assist in gathering, validating, and documenting various system information and needs
- Provide support in enhancing the process of documentation for improving procedures and operations
- Safeguard requirements by verifying functionality, accuracy, and completeness of the requirements against the original initiating documents
- Apply knowledge of business process modelling notations
- Provide assistance, as needed, with special projects
Requirements
- BA or BS in business administration or related field
- 0-1 years of experience as Business Analyst working with ERP, CRM, or other business systems
- Proficiency with PowerBI
- Strong Excel skills required
- Well versed in SQL
- Well versed in UML modeling
- Proficient with Microsoft office products with focus on MS Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Project
- Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Solid grasp of basic accounting and supply chain management concepts
