What You'll Do:
- Operate process units safely and efficiently while meeting production and quality targets
- Follow standard operating procedures, safety standards, and environmental regulations
- Monitor processes, take samples, interpret results, and make necessary adjustments
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues; coordinate with Maintenance as needed
- Prepare equipment for maintenance and complete required permits/work requests
- Maintain accurate shift logs and support effective shift handovers
- Train and mentor other operators; provide leadership within the shift as needed
- Support reliability, continuous improvement, and operational optimization efforts
- Participate in safety programs, emergency response, and required meetings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (maintenance, lab, contractors, etc.)
What You'll Bring:
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- Two years post High School - Technician training in craft discipline or cehmical operator preferred
- Must pass a series of tests including mechanical aptitude, mathmatics and reading comprehension.
