Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner for evening shifts in Youngsville or Broussard, LA. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and professional environment in a variety of commercial facilities, including offices, medical buildings, and retail spaces.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces
- Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners
- Clean glass, mirrors, and windows as needed
- Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Follow all safety and cleaning protocols for each facility
- Lock up and secure buildings after shift (if required)
- Report any maintenance or safety issues
Requirements:
- Previous commercial or janitorial cleaning experience preferred (but not required)
- Evening availability (shifts typically between 5:00 PM – 08:00 PM, depending on facility hours)
- Dependable transportation
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass a drug screening
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical cleaning duties
