Lead Housekeeper Full Time

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Lead Housekeeper / EVS Lead to oversee daily cleaning operations and support team performance. This position is responsible for ensuring all assigned areas are maintained to company standards while assisting with supervision, training, and accountability of housekeeping staff.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who leads by example, holds their team accountable, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning duties while leading by example on the floor
• Oversee and support housekeeping staff during assigned shift
• Ensure all areas are cleaned and maintained to company standards
• Conduct routine inspections and address any deficiencies immediately
• Assist with training new hires and reinforcing company procedures
• Monitor attendance, performance, and productivity of team members
• Ensure proper use of cleaning equipment and supplies
• Communicate effectively with management regarding staffing, concerns, and needs
• Assist with scheduling support and coverage as needed
• Maintain a professional and organized work environment

Qualifications:

• 2 years of professional housekeeping or janitorial experience required
• Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Detail-oriented with high standards for cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions

Requirements:

• Must pass background check
• Must pass drug screening
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout shift
