Job Description:
We are looking for a Full-Time Floor Technician to join our commercial cleaning team in the Acadiana area (including Youngsville, Broussard, and surrounding cities). The ideal candidate has experience with buffing and preferably stripping and waxing floors. This is a hands-on role with opportunities for steady hours, growth, and leadership for the right person.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate floor machines for buffing various commercial floor surfaces
- Perform stripping and waxing of floors (preferred but not required)
- Sweep, mop, and prep floors before treatment
- Maintain and clean floor equipment
- Follow proper safety protocols and site procedures
- Work independently or with a team to complete nightly or scheduled floor jobs
- Travel to job sites throughout the Acadiana area
Requirements:
- Floor buffing experience required
- Stripping and waxing experience preferred
- Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical work on your feet
- Dependable, hard-working, and detail-oriented
- Must be available for flexible shifts, including evenings or weekends if needed
