We are seeking for an experienced Concrete Foremen. Local Candidates Preferred. No Per Diem Available.

As a Concrete Foreman for our Civil District, you will contribute to our team by:

• General Carpentry
• Wall form building and setting (both gang and stick built)
• Flatwork (SOG and Foundations)
• Placing Concrete (footings, walls, decks, SOG etc.)
• Capable of using man lift, scissor lift, etc.
• Working from heights
• Preferred versatility - experience with finishing concrete patching
• Preferred ability to operate forklift (cert)
  
  

What You Will Bring To The Role

• Responsible for coordinating and supervising a team of crew members
• Safety certifications (OSHA) a plus.
• Concrete Foreman should have 3 years of experience in concrete placement, use of power trowels, power vibrators, all associated hand tools and hardening and sealing compounds.
• Good Attendance record with references from previous employer(s).
• Strength to perform average lifting of up to 35 pounds and occasionally to 50 pounds, from the ground to waist level.
• Arm, hand, and finger dexterity with both hands involved in activities such as reaching, handling, and feeling--and with good eyesight.
• Should be able to navigate through the work-site on a daily basis.
• Occasionally climbs up and down ladders, scaffolding and stairs.
• May work around chemicals, near grinding and torching and/or near cranes.
• May work in close contact with other people.
• Must be able to work in extreme temperatures, in confined spaces, high places, and in excavated areas
• Experience in leadership role – leading others
• Able to identify quality deficiencies and safety concerns
• Read and understand various drawings
