JOB SUMMARY:
Maintenance employees conduct general housekeeping and janitorial duties, ensuring the parking facilities remain bright and clean. Maintenance employees perform snow removal and landscaping duties and often assist in power washing. This is a full-time position with a schedule of Tuesday-Saturday from 2pm-10:30pm, with health benefits, sick-time/PTO, and a performance-based bonus.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Sweeping garages and lots
• Maintaining clean look of areas around lots and structures
• Wiping down handrails, sweeping and mopping stair towers in ramps
• Cleaning windows, removing dust and cobwebs
• Polishing and emptying trash cans and receptacles
• Cleaning bodily fluids using approved supplies and personal protective equipment
• Mopping elevators and landings
• Responding promptly to radio calls
• Safely operating company vehicles
• Regular tours of structures and lots
• Snow and ice removal
• Cleaning 911 boxes, signage, and window ledges
• Cleaning offices, restrooms, and break rooms
• Removing graffiti and performing paint touch-ups
• Completing work orders and conducting car counts
• Responding to assistance calls
• Light bulb replacement
• Power washing assistance
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
WORKING CONDITIONS AND EVIRONMENT:
- Maintenance employees work up to 90% of the time outside and should be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Repetitive use of hands, grasping and holding tools, extensive walking, standing, bending, reaching, crouching, grasping, twisting, and stair climbing.
- Position regularly works with various cleaning solvents, and hazardous substances for removal of graffiti, cleaning, painting, and other applications.
- Environmental conditions include working in the weather of all types. Capable of working in extreme cold, heat, and high wind conditions for extended periods.
