Position Overview: This position requires a high level of multi-tasking, coordination, and management of the various aspects of an on-street parking enforcement operation. The General Manager will drive efficient and effective operations by leading and coaching staff in meeting job responsibilities as well as being the key point of contact in working in partnership with city staff. The incumbent in this role oversees operations, recommends, and initiates process improvement, demonstrates a sense of urgency, and ensures timely and accurate financial reporting. The General Manager demonstrates effective communication by keeping all stakeholders well informed in a timely manner.

Salary: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year (DOE)
Essential Job Functions:
- Ensure parking citations are being delivered accurately and effectively.
- Manage operational expenses and protect profitability.
- Manage accounts receivable software system and process customer payments in timely manner.
- Create and manage expense budget to plan.
- Ensure revenue is collected and deposited daily and accurately.
- Ensure accounts payable are paid accurately and in a timely manner.
- Submits expenses for reimbursement monthly.
- Maintain adequate staffing to properly serve the needs of the operation and its stakeholders.
- Recruit, hire, and train competent employees and ensure continuous training and development solutions are in place.
- Conduct regular performance management with employees to meet performance goals.
- Hold employees accountable to meeting company performance and conduct expectations.
- Conduct annual performance review discussions.
- Schedule staff strategically to meet the needs of the business.
- Ensure contract compliance and completion of terms and deliverables with urgency and accuracy.
- Meets regularly with city staff and attends meetings as needed.
- Maintain open communication with client and keeps them well informed.
- Deliver excellent customer service consistently through people, tools, and processes.
- Builds relationships with stakeholders including vendor partners, contractors, local businesses, and city personnel.
- Keeps others well informed in a timely manner with regular updates as needed.
- Ensure adequate, effective, and professional looking signage in place throughout parking system.
- Maintain parking meters, ensuring operational to serve the public during parking enforcement times.
- Ensures regular and routine preventative maintenance processes in place.
- Proactively procure tools, supplies, and parts as needed to support operational needs.
- Maintain software programs necessary to operate the parking system.
- Maintain upkeep and maintenance of License Plate Recognition (LPR) hardware and vehicles.
- Ensures assets are logged, tracked, and inventoried regularly.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of two years managerial and customer service experience in the parking industry preferred.
- Must exhibit professionalism and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Proficient knowledge of basic accounting practices is beneficial.
