What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clerk position at PCI Federal?
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the Office of Management Information of the Civil Division of the Department of Justice
- Maintain a 98% accuracy and required production levels/volume of work
- Adhere to prescribed deadlines for processing documents and completing work
- Review legal documents and extract relevant information
- Develop criteria and perform database queries to conduct searches on complex database and identify relevant case records
- Apply detailed rules and procedures consistently and accurately in a deadline driven environment
- Perform self and peer quality assurance reviews
- Perform clerical duties such as assembling documents, photocopying, filing, generating address labels and other duties as assigned
- Share late shift duties (9:30 am to 6:00 pm) with other Mail ID staff
- High School Diploma
- Experience in an office environment
- Experience applying detailed rules and procedures
- Experience meeting deadlines
- Experience demonstrating teamwork
- Good organizational skills with attention to details and follow-up actions
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good working knowledge of MS Word
- Strong interpersonal skills demonstrating ability to work and interact professionally with colleagues, government staff and other contractor personnel
