Reports to: Human Resources Director
At PCI Construction, we provide a multitude of construction services in the underground utility field including potable water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and underground franchise utilities.
Receptionist will be responsible for front desk administrative duties, including answering a multi-line phone system, sorting faxes and provide general support to President, senior management, Project Managers, Accounting Staff, Human Resources, Superintendents and Foremen as needed.
Receptionist Job Responsibilities:
· Answering multi line phone system and transferring calls in a courteous and professional manner.
· Meet and greet visitors and make them feel welcome.
· Assist prospective hires in completing applications and onboarding documents.
· Assist Accounts Payable in data entry with high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
· Filing.
· Ordering office supplies.
· Preparing mail, FedEx, letters, and documents.
· Receiving and sorting out e-mail and faxes.
· Processing and distributing Mail and packages.
· Ensuring common office areas are equipped and stocked with office supplies.
· Other administrative duties as assigned.
Skill Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must be bilingual and fluent in English and Spanish.
- Strong Computer knowledge with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Extremely high attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be punctual and work well independently.
- Self-starter
- Driving may be required occasionally.
- Enthusiastic towards learning new things.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Some college coursework is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a corporate office and construction operations environment
