We are seeking a recent college graduate to fill a Material Handler Contractor role in Oakland, CA for a hyper-growth AI technology company. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager. This individual will play a key role in supporting material flow and ensuring timely movement of materials to support production and business operations.
About the Job
- Support outbound shipping by preparing, packaging, labeling, and staging shipments in accordance with company procedures.
- Safely operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to load, unload, move, and stage materials while maintaining efficient material flow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by following company policies, OSHA regulations, and performing other related duties as assigned.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, supplies, and products against purchase orders, packing slips, and receiving documentation to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Accurately record, organize, store, and track inventory while supporting cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (B.A. or M.A.) from an accredited institution
- Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds, and stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb throughout the workday.
