Job Overview:
As an HVAC Lead Installer, you will be responsible for system replacements and full HVAC installations in residential and commercial settings. You must be able to efficiently handle both system replacements and full system installations, including installing/ modifying ductwork, unit placements, and start-up procedures. Essential Responsibilities:
- Install HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, heat pumps, ductwork, and mini-split systems.
- Ensure all installations comply with local codes and manufacturer specifications.
- Perform system start-ups and testing to ensure proper operation.
- Receive, verify, and load all necessary equipment and materials for each job.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
- Communicate effectively with homeowners and project managers.
- Work alongside apprentices and assist with training as needed.
- Maintain company tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Work in various weather conditions and lift up to 70 lbs.
What You Will Bring:
- 2-5 years of HVAC installation experience preferred.
- HVAC degree or equivalent field experience with certification from a technical/trade school.
- Strong understanding of HVAC installation principles and best practices.
- Ability to perform full installations, including commissioning/start-up.
- Experience with all phases of HVAC installations, including running ductwork and creating plenums.
- Experience using Housecall Pro is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with homeowners, project managers, and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional appearance and reliability.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Own hand and common power tools.
- Willingness to learn and take pride in delivering high-quality work.
