Overview
The Field Technician plays a vital role in supporting field operations at client sites. This hands-on position involves equipment handling, job site support, and compliance with all operational and safety standards. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys working in the field and can adapt quickly to changing needs and environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and support daily field operations at customer sites.
- Assist with setup, operation, maintenance, and breakdown of field equipment.
- Ensure adherence to Petrochem Energy safety procedures and client requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of shop and field equipment.
- Travel as needed—often on short notice—to various job sites.
- Provide professional and courteous service while representing the company.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of industry-related experience (oil and gas preferred).
Skills & Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to manage time effectively and solve problems independently or with a team.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be able to travel frequently, often with short notice, within and outside New Jersey.
- Must be able to obtain a TWIC card and CDL with HazMat endorsement.
