Role Overview
This position provides a unique opportunity to support PCCP’s investment platform by partnering with PCCP’s investment teams across debt and equity transactions to ensure seamless execution, while focusing on continuous improvement with a forward thinking mindset in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The Associate/AVP will take direction from the Managing Director of Closing and require minimal supervision.
Primary Responsibilities
- In partnership with PCCP’s internal investment team and PCCP’s external service providers, assist in the closing process on a variety of complex, nationwide commercial real estate transactions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment, transparency, and timely execution of all closing transaction activities.
- Adapt to change by embracing new tools, evolving deal structures, and shifting priorities with a proactive and resilient mindset.
- Drive process efficiency by identifying and implementing improvements in closing workflows, leveraging technology and automation where appropriate.
- Support post-closing activities in collaboration with across internal teams and external service providers, including secondary closings and follow-up diligence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent knowledge.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of commercial real estate transaction experience.
- Legal background (Paralegal or Attorney experience) strongly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and openness to leveraging AI and emerging technologies.
- Technologically curious and forward-thinking—actively seeks tools and systems that improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work across all levels of the organization.
- Change-forward mindset: adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn and lead through transformation.
- Legal experience.
- Demonstrated ability to close debt and equity deals from inception.
