Key Responsibilities | Curriculum Leadership
- Lead the implementation and refinement of the school's curriculum across all classrooms (infants through Pre-K).
- Support fidelity of established programs including Learning Without Tears, Heggerty Phonemic Awareness, and Bible curriculum.
- Ensure classroom instruction aligns with developmentally appropriate practices and early childhood learning standards.
- Collaborate with leadership to evaluate curriculum effectiveness and implement improvements.
Teacher Support & Instructional Coaching
- Provide coaching and mentoring to teachers in lesson planning, classroom management, and instructional strategies.
- Effective early childhood teaching practices and developmentally appropriate activities.
- Support teachers in creating engaging learning environments that support social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Encourage reflective teaching practices and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
- Experience teaching in an early childhood classroom
- Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practice
- Ability to mentor and support teachers
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred
- Master's degree in early childhood education, Curriculum & Instruction, or related field
- Experience in instructional coaching, curriculum leadership, or program administration
- Experience with early literacy programs and preschool curriculum development
- Familiarity with Texas licensing requirements and professional development systems such as TECPDS
