Primary Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
work with the loan officers and customers to analyze customer financial information to determine creditworthiness and capacity for repayment including preparing standard and complex loan approval packages to be presented for approval. Additionally, this position will be responsible for completing periodic reviews on existing loan relationships as well as ongoing monitoring/reporting of various portfolio data.
Accountabilities
Collect and analyze borrower's tax returns and financial statements to determine creditworthiness and capacity for repayment.
Prepare and present standard and complex loan approval packages to SVP Chief Credit Officer and Internal Loan Committee.
Prepare periodic reviews on existing loan relationships.
Maintain communication with loan production staff during loan underwriting and approval process.
Contact credit bureaus, employers, and other sources to check applicants' credit and personal references.
Exhibit an understanding of and ensure compliance with loan and regulatory policies and procedures.
Interview loan applicants to obtain personal and financial data and to assist in collecting all necessary information.
Obtain, maintain, and track recurring, required financial information.
Gather, analyze and report various points of data from existing portfolio.
Manage & track various reporting requirements specified in credit policy.
Comply with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the USA PATRIOT ACT (CIP), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), including reporting suspicious activities to the BSA Department as well as other banking and company regulations and rules.

EDUCATION NEEDED
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Skills Needed
5 years of banking or related credit analysis / lending experience (preferred)
Knowledge of federal and state commercial loan requirements
Possess critical thinking and in-depth analysis skills
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Strong relationship-building skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multitask situations
Attentive to details
Ability to work independently as well as complete projects using a team
Strong computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
