Major Areas of Accountability
- Cooperates as a team member of the department to help best serve the needs of the customer.
- Responsible for knowing and using proper ESD procedures as outlined in the ESD manual.
- Complies with all aspects of the AS9100 Quality System.
- Understands and promotes our quality statement of "Total Customer Satisfaction".
- Responsible for operating and basic maintenance of equipment such cable winder, molder, & raw cable equipment. Knowledge and operation of laser marker machine, laser welder and leak tester.
- Responsible for new product setups and/or programing.
- Verifies conformance of finished work to ensure compliance to company specifications. For raw cable, uses spark tester to determine quality of cable. For laser welds, uses a microscope to inspect welds for stress, holes, cracks and appearance to determine compliance and quality.
- Makes necessary changes or modifies programs with limited supervision.
- Able to work in multiple areas within the service department.
- Maintains neat and orderly work area.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
