The Role
We are looking for a talented and highly motivated Cinematographer who is based locally in the Panama City Beach, 30A, or Destin area. This is not a point-and-shoot gig; we are looking for a true visual storyteller who understands how to evoke emotion and communicate a brand’s ethos through the lens.
In this role, you will travel across our beautiful coastal communities to film diverse locations, local businesses, and unique brand stories. You will be responsible for bringing creative concepts to life with stunning composition, dynamic lighting, and cinematic movement.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with our creative team to conceptualize and execute visually compelling brand stories.
- Travel locally across Panama City Beach, 30A, and Destin to shoot on-location for various clients.
- Operate your own professional camera package to capture high-quality cinematic footage.
- Adapt on the fly to different lighting conditions and environments, from high-end real estate, construction sites, to bustling local events and lifestyle shoots.
- Capture supplementary high-resolution still photography for client campaigns (highly preferred).
What We Are Looking For
- A Story-First Mindset: You understand that great gear doesn't make a great video—storytelling does. You know how to pace a scene and capture the crucial details that build a narrative.
- Owned Equipment: You must own and operate a professional-grade cinema or mirrorless camera package (including appropriate lenses).
- Local to the Area: You must reside in or be highly accessible to the PCB, 30A, or Destin areas with reliable transportation.
- Professionalism: You will be representing PCB Films on set with our most valued clients. Excellent communication and a positive, problem-solving attitude are required.
Bonus Points
- Professional photography experience is a massive plus, as many of our clients require a hybrid approach on shoot days.
- Experience with drone cinematography (Part 107 certified).
- Familiar with Adobe Premiere Pro
- Knowledge of Social Media Platforms: YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn
