RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure that the product is moved from the truck to the staging area in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain and perform daily safety inspections of the clamp truck and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform lockout/tag out procedures on trailers.
- Maintain good housekeeping and manufacturing practices at all times.
- Pick and stage orders and load and unload trucks, while maintaining inventory integrity through proper handling and storage.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Graduate or GED.
- 6 month’s prior experience operating a Roll Clamp or Forklift
- Successful candidate must be willing to work EVERY shift.
- Certified industrial driver or ability to get certified in a timely manner.
- Ability to safely operate a propane powered forklift.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Starting salary for position: $25.02 - $27.34 per hour.
- Bonus: Annual – Based upon achievement of plant performance metrics.
- Paid Vacation: 1 weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year.
