Job Summary:
As a Smartphone and Computer Repair Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot a variety of hardware and software issues for smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers. You will deliver excellent customer service while ensuring devices are restored to optimal functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers.
- Perform hardware repairs including screen replacements, battery replacements, and motherboard repairs.
- Resolve software issues such as operating system errors, virus removal, and data recovery.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding device usage and maintenance.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts, and services provided.
- Ensure repairs are completed efficiently and accurately to meet quality standards.
- Stay up to date with the latest technology and repair techniques.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in smartphone and computer repair or related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing Apple, Android, and Windows devices.
- Knowledge of hardware components, soldering, and microsoldering (preferred but not required).
- Familiarity with software troubleshooting and data recovery.
- Customer Service: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications (CompTIA A , Apple Certified Mac Technician, etc.) are a plus.
- Work Ethic: Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
