Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Lube Technician to join our mobile diesel team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop foundational skills in vehicle maintenance and diesel repair within a professional environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for semi trucks, a strong work ethic, and a desire to grow their career in diesel service. Prior dealership experience or mechanic background is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates enthusiasm and mechanical aptitude.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and basic vehicle maintenance procedures efficiently and accurately
- Assist with tire service, including rotation, replacement, and balancing
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and communicate findings to senior technicians or customers
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, fluid top-offs, and minor repairs
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure tools are organized and properly stored
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions professionally
- Assist with additional maintenance tasks as directed by senior technicians or management
Skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge with an interest in diesel repair and diagnostics
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and diesel service equipment is preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes, tire services, and fluid checks
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely (heavy lifting) and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Prior dealership or mechanic experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for entry-level candidates
- Knowledge of diesel diagnostics, alignment procedures, or additional mechanic skills is advantageous
