About the Role
PBS Western Reserve -- Northeast Ohio's public media home -- is hiring a relationship-driven professional to grow and manage corporate sponsorship partnerships with local and regional businesses. You'll represent one of the most trusted brands in the region, helping organizations connect with engaged audiences through PBS programming.
This is a corporate partnership development role with real earnings upside. You will manage a portfolio of existing accounts while actively developing new relationships, all for an organization that matters to the community.
What You Can Earn
- Base Salary: Starting at $52,000
- Commission: 8% on all collected underwriting revenue
- New Business Bonus: 5% on newly collected revenue, paid annually if goal is met
- Annual Goal: $185,000
- Total Compensation Opportunity: $59,000
At the $185,000 annual goal, commission adds approximately $14,800 on top of base salary. New business bonuses are earned on top of that.
What You Will Do
- Manage and renew a portfolio of existing corporate partners, building long-term relationships that support retention and growth
- Identify and develop new sponsorship partnerships, creating customized proposals tied to each client's goals
- Own your pipeline -- tracking activity, forecasting revenue, and reporting progress against an annual goal
- Represent PBS Western Reserve in the community and at local networking events
- Partner with internal teams on campaign execution and account follow-up to ensure client commitments are fulfilled
What We Are Looking For
- 2-5 years of experience in account management, corporate partnership development, or revenue-generating business development
- A natural relationship-builder -- you remember names, follow through, and people genuinely enjoy working with you
- Comfortable managing multiple accounts and staying organized
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a consultative approach to client engagement
- Background in media, advertising, sponsorship, or nonprofit fundraising is a plus -- but not required
