Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and Part time skilled Maintenance Person for 3p-11pm shifts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance and possess a variety of technical skills to ensure the smooth operation of our residential and commercial properties. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, ensuring that all facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on residential properties to identify issues and ensure optimal functionality.
- Conduct electrical repairs and installations as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Execute welding tasks for repairs or modifications on various structures and equipment.
- Supervise maintenance activities, providing guidance and support to junior staff as necessary.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems within the facilities.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to assist in repairs and installations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including completed tasks and materials used.
- Communicate effectively in English with team members, contractors, and residents regarding maintenance issues.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong skills in residential painting, electrical work, and mechanical systems are highly desirable.
- Previous supervisory experience is a plus, demonstrating the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in maintenance tasks is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
