Distribution Associate
General Job Description
- Picking, checking and packing orders, running shipping lines, processing orders using all shipping methods
Illustrative Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pick orders using invoice to find locations, items needed and correct quantity
- Check orders by line item to ensure order picked correctly
- Pack orders properly, ensuring heaviest items on bottom, select proper packing material
- Use appropriate shipping systems
- Responsible for picking, checking, packing and shipping accurately
- Other duties as requested
Qualification Requirements:
- Good basic math skills
- Flexibility to change assigned duties when necessary
- High productivity level
- Thorough product knowledge
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Forklift experience helpful
Education: Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: 1 year
Skills: High level of productivity and accuracy, able to read and understand English
Knowledge Of: Microsoft Office a plus
Special Requirements: Able to lift 50 pounds and work on weekends
Reports To: Distribution Manager
