Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist position based in Rockford, IL. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for operating, programming, and monitoring CNC machinery to produce high-quality precision components. Daily tasks include setting up machines, troubleshooting issues, conducting quality checks, and maintaining tools and equipment to ensure optimal machine performance. The role also involves maintaining adherence to safety standards and following established protocols for machine operation and quality control.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Machine Operation and Machining processes
- Hands-on experience in Milling and general Machinery handling
- Knowledge of Quality Control procedures and ensuring compliance with specifications
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and capability to work with precision in a fast-paced environment
- Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in machining or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in CNC machine operation is required
