Mission
Produce precision components on CNC mills and lathes while safeguarding quality, safety, and equipment readiness—and meticulously recording what you do so every run is repeatable.
Core Responsibilities
- Run CNC mills and lathes to machine parts to print.
- Perform in-process inspections, maintain quality records, and follow safety rules and SOPs.
- Document production, measurements, and adjustments thoroughly.
- Support equipment reliability through routine maintenance and supply management.
- Work collaboratively across the department and contribute to continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ machinist experience operating CNC equipment (mills and lathes).
- Six months of related training or experience required.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints or solid knowledge of blueprint fundamentals.
- Proficient with O.D. micrometers, calipers, and plug gauges.
- Whole-number math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Team-oriented communicator who performs well with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable adapting to changing procedures and responsibilities.
- Physical ability to frequently lift/move up to 25 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs.
- Close and color vision with adjustable focus; strong hand dexterity.
- Adherence to all company policies and procedures.
