Part-Time Nanny for a Sweet 3-Month-Old Boy
Location: Sparks, NV 89431
Start Date: As soon as the right fit is found
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–12:30 PM
Compensation: $20–$25/hr DOE
About the Family
The Pb J Collective is delighted to support this warm pair of first-time parents as they welcome an experienced, gentle, and collaborative nanny into their home. About Their Baby Boy (3 Months Old)
This adorable little guy is 11 weeks old—snuggly, curious, and happiest in calm, nurturing environments.
He enjoys:
- Being held upright, especially after feeds
- Gentle soothing, soft music, and calm voices
- Looking around and taking in the world
- Short, sweet moments of face-to-face interaction
- Contact naps and warm cuddles
He’s still working on:
- Establishing predictable nap rhythms
- Staying comfortable with mild reflux (upright time after meals is key!)
- Developing consistent feeding/sleep patterns
He is exclusively breastfed and typically feeds every 2.5–3 hours during the day. He’ll thrive with someone patient, attuned, and flexible—someone who follows his cues and supports his natural rhythms.
Who They’re Looking For
A wonderful fit for this role will be:
- Experienced with young infants and tuned into their unique needs
- Calm, gentle, and patient—offering steady, reassuring energy
- A clear communicator who values collaboration and reliability
- Confident supporting breastfeeding routines and developmental milestones
- Comfortable soothing babies with reflux and maintaining supportive feeding routines
- Flexible and responsive to baby’s day-to-day changes
- Engaging through talking, reading, singing, tummy time, and sensory play
- Infant CPR First Aid certified (preferred but not required)
Responsibilities
- Follow baby’s cues and support his feeding/sleep rhythms
- Keep him upright after feeds to ease reflux
- Provide gentle soothing in a calm environment
- Engage him with developmentally appropriate play
- Track feeds, naps, and developmental notes for parents
- Communicate regularly with parents about his day
- Support first-time parents with partnership and clarity
Light Housekeeping (Baby-Focused Only)
- Wash and sanitize bottles and pump parts
- Baby laundry
- Tidy and organize baby-use areas
- Keep nursery and common baby spaces neat
- Simple baby-food prep when age-appropriate
- Optional: very light meal prep for parents (not required)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
