Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Technician with a strong background in aircraft component repair. This is a hands-on bench technician role requiring precision, technical expertise, and adherence to FAA regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform disassembly, inspection, repair, overhaul, and testing of aircraft hydraulic components
- Interpret technical manuals, CMMs, and engineering drawings
- Troubleshoot hydraulic systems and components to identify defects and required repairs
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with FAA regulations and company quality procedures
- Accurately document work performed using repair station documentation systems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a bench technician in an FAA Part-145 Aircraft Repair Station
- Strong knowledge of aircraft hydraulic systems and components
- Experience using precision measuring instruments and test equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Familiarity with FAA regulations and repair station operations
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with specific hydraulic components (actuators, pumps, valves, etc.)
- Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license (preferred but not required)
- Experience working in a fast-paced MRO environment
