What are the responsibilities and job description for the Water Operator II position at Payson City?
DUTIES: Under the general supervision and direction of the Water Superintendent performs skilled work pertaining to the operations, maintenance and construction of the City's culinary water system.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School diploma or equivalent education required. Experience: A minimum of two years' experience in construction, maintenance and repair of water distribution systems.
Licenses/Certifications: Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License and a Utah State Class II Water Certification; must obtain a UDOT Flagging Certificate within three months of hire.
SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week. M-TH. Required to participate in the on-call rotation. Evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.
