What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corridor Maintenance Technician position at Payson City?
DUTIES: Under the general supervision of the Streets/Storm Drain/Solid Waste/Landfill Superintendent, performs manual labor associated with the maintenance and repair of City streets, corridors and right- of -ways; performs a variety of tasks including raking leaves, cleaning litter mowing grass, construction labor and other assigned duties.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: One year experience and or training that includes landscaping maintenance and repair or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this job. Licenses/Certifications: A valid Utah Driver's License. Must obtain pesticide license within one year of hire.
SALARY: $20.10 to $26.13 per hour. Typically starts at the lower end of the range, depends on experience. Also includes a comprehensive benefits package.
SCHEDULE: M-F, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., some weekends and evenings may be required.
