Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Payroll Specialist located in Nanuet, NY. The Payroll Specialist will handle payroll processing, administer payroll-related tasks, payroll taxes, and manage garnishments. The role involves offering top-tier client support, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and assisting clients in navigating payroll services.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Payroll Processing and Payroll Administration but we are will to train the right person.
- Experience with Payroll Taxes and Garnishments
- Understanding of Payroll Services and client support processes
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive financial information
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with payroll software or systems is preferred
- Relevant certifications, such as APA certification, are a plus
- High school diploma is required; additional education in HR, business,accounting or a related field is a bonus
