Job Description
The Strategic Sourcing Specialist supports sourcing activities across assigned spend categories by performing research, preparing documentation, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to procurement processes. This role contributes to sourcing events and supplier management activities by providing analytical support, maintaining data accuracy, and assisting with routine vendor interactions.

Job Description
The Strategic Sourcing Specialist supports sourcing activities across assigned spend categories by performing research, preparing documentation, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to procurement processes. This role contributes to sourcing events and supplier management activities by providing analytical support, maintaining data accuracy, and assisting with routine vendor interactions.

- Basic negotiation and supplier communication capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with guidance
- Conduct basic spend analysis, data collection, and market research to support sourcing activities.
- Assist in preparing sourcing event materials, including RFIs and RFPs.
- Maintain accurate supplier data, project trackers, and sourcing documentation.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and suppliers to gather required information.
- Support contract reviews by routing documents and tracking approvals.
- Monitor supplier compliance and maintain performance data.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and process standards.
- Assist with generating savings reports, KPIs, and sourcing dashboards.
- Provide administrative and execution support for sourcing initiatives and vendor management activities.
- Accuracy and completeness of documentation and data maintained
- Timeliness in completing assigned tasks
- Quality of support provided to stakeholders and sourcing leads
- Compliance with procurement processes and standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–3 years of procurement, sourcing, or related business experience
- Strong Excel and analytical skills; exposure to procurement systems a plus
- Preferred: Interest in pursuing procurement certifications (CPSD, CPSM, CSCP)
